The School Council represents the children in school and their views. They actively participate in improving all aspects of school life.

It consists of representatives from each of the Key Stage 2 classes. Each class is represented by two councillors. Members are elected in Year 3. Candidates are invited to make a short speech to their classmates explaining why they should be elected. A silent vote is then held to elect the representatives – a boy and a girl.

The School Council Meetings are held on a regular basis [fortnightly where possible]. At the first meeting of the year, the councillors elect a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson from Year 6.
